the-next-womenAbout the NextWomen

The NextWomen is on a mission to build The Female Business Brand for entrepreneurs, executives and investors. Our goal is to advise, inspire & connect a global & local community of ambitious entrepreneurial women specifically on their business needs - online & offline. The NextWomen is all about killer advice and killer contacts!

Top 5 Ways to Get Involved

1. Sign up to The NextWomen’s weekly global newsletter

The easiest way to stay up-to-date with our news and the best of our recent articles is to sign up for our weekly global newsletter  which also includes a topical message from the CEO or Editor. We try hard for smart reading.

2. Blog for our Startup Diaries section

Startup Diaries is where founders can post their startup stories in blog form, describing their entrepreneurial journey; the challenges and highlights, eureka moments, lessons learned and laughs had along the way. The idea is to build a collection of first person anecdotes from women building businesses, as a resource for other female founders. Email beth[at]thenextwomen[dot]com for details on how to contribute.

3. Become a The NextWomen Correspondent

We are looking for bloggers all over the world to act as regional correspondents, reporting on women founders, investors and leaders in their area. In addition to profiling/interviewing female heroes in their country, international bloggers would also submit relevant business news from their region, for example reporting on the local startup scene, tech events, fundraising successes etc. Click here for more details on writing for us.

4. Participate in one of our Pitch Events

The NextWomen Pitch events give women founders (experienced or with little or no experience in fundraising) a first review of their business plan by a panel of experts and investors. After practicing their pitch in a friendly morning workshop environment, the founders present to the panel, to be offered first-hand insights and feedback. More than 100 female entrepreneurs have pitched at our events and 25% go on to get funding. Sign up to our newsletter for details of forthcoming events.

5. Join Our Team

The NextWomen is growing and we have part-time positions available. We are looking for local event organisers in Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Moscow and Praque to run 3-4 events a year and promote their local The NextWomen group to increase membership. We are also looking for someone to lead our Advice Programme, which is aimed at sharing the knowledge and experience of our network’s experts, The NextAdvisers, with the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. If you are interested let us know with a short email and resume to simone[at]thenextwomen[dot]com.
